Coffee Get Together: Drop-in Grief Group: Open to anyone, this group offers an opportunity to listen and to share grief experiences. Find the time for yourself and be supported as you continue to make the many difficult adjustments to life following  the loss of a loved one. 

November 5th- December 10th
Courage to Grieve: A community based program for those experiencing loss through death, co-facilitated by two individuals.  Registration is required.  The six week structured bereavement sessions are held in a safe, non-judgmental group environment where you can meet others having similar experiences, thoughts and feelings.  

November 30th
Memory Tree: A community event to remember your loved ones

Masterpiece Art Shuffle

Please stop into the Portico Art Gallery downtown Squamish starting on Dec. 5th to view and bid on donated art pieces that are up for auction. The Silent auction will run and on Dec. 15th the winners will be announce in an evening event at the Gallery.

The Wine Draw is Easy!

Hi All,

There's nothing to it, simply:

  • Find 5-7 friends and make a team
  • Choose a Captain and a Team Name
  • Captains email your information to hospice.seatosky@vch.ca
  • Collect $10 and one bottle of wine (commercially produced, min $15) from each player on your team
  • Drop off team wine & donations to the Hospice Office (Red Cross building by Hilltop House) on Friday Dec. 7th between 10:30am and 3:30pm. 
  • Check the website each day between Monday Dec. 10th and Friday Dec. 14th to see your status in the game and find out who wins ALL the wine!

Note if you have your teams together early we may be able to collect at your location so let us know.

Theraputic Touch Course: What a weekend!

Thank you to all those who attended the Theraputic Touch Level I course presented by Squamish Hospice Society and Facilitated by Linda Harvey B.S.N., TTRT. It was a great weekend with a lot of new insights and learning. Please let us know if you are interested in a Level II course in the future.

Squamish Hospice Society is pleased to offer our volunteers and community members the opportunity to participate in Theraputic Touch Level I certificate course at the Easter Seals Camp in Brackendale. All are welcome however, pre Registration is required.
