Hike For Hospice May 5th

The Squamish Hospice Society's 6th Annual Hike for Hospice
Hike for Hospice is a national fundraising event that takes place each year across Canada and raises funds to support hospice and palliative care programs. The Hospice Society is looking for community members to raise funds for this event via pledges for the hike. We challenge offices and organizations to create teams and challenge other business to see who can raise the most funds for the Hike for Hospice.
Why: The Squamish Hike for Hospice is a fundraiser aimed at advancing hospice and palliative care in our community.  80% of Canadian say they want quality care at the end of life, yet only 15% have access to it.
The Squamish Hospice Society is a volunteer organization that actively promotes support directed towards improving the quality of life for the dying, their loved ones and the bereaved in the Sea to Sky Community. All funds raised at the Squamish Hike for Hospice will go to support local programs.
Where: Station Mall in front of Nester's Market. The Hike itself is a walk from Station Mall, under the underpass, through Rose Park and Lilly's Garden to the Adventure Centre and back to Station Mall for refreshments and snacks.
When:  Hike takes place on May 5th. Registration is at 9:30am hike begins at 10am. Whether you make a donation or not we would love to see you come out on Hike day to support Hospice in your Community!
Download your pledge form here and start collecting pledges now, your support is greatly appreciated.
We look forward to seeing you this May 5th walking to support Hospice programs in the Sea to Sky.
