Memory Tree Event. Join us for our annual Memory Tree Event at On the Farm Shops. Gather with friends and family and be supported as we remember and honour the memory of our loved ones at the start of the holiday season.

The Squamish Hospice Society is up to our annual raffle sales and we are so excited about our amazing prizes!!

1st Prize: A Hand Crafted Row Boat and Oars custome built by Ray Sandberg. This gorgeous and highly functional craft is on display at the Watershed Grill on Government Rd.


2nd Prize: 16GB  iPad Mini and Cover

3rd Prize: One Night Stay at the Crystal Lodge in Whistler

Tickets will be on sale starting March 3rd at the Winter Market at the Railway Park and every weekend to follow at varying locations: Farmer's Market, Nesters and WalMart. Please look for our Hospice Volunteers at these location and be sure to get your tickets and chance to win one of these amazing prizes.

Tickets will be sold for $5 each or 3 for $10 and the draw will take place May 5th at our 6th Annual Hike for Hospice Walk.


Membership Drive on now

The Squamish Hospice Society is updating their membership list and asks you for your support. Your membership fees go to help sustaining ongoing support for the dying, their loved ones and the bereaved in the Sea to Sky Corridor.

Upcoming Volunteer Training

The Squamish Hospice Society is looking for volunteers! We are excited to be hosting a new Volunteer Training program March 2 and 3rd.

Please call or email us if you are in joining the Hospice Society or learning more about what we do and how your skills would be useful. While we gratefully appreciate all interested people, the Squamish Hospice Society would like to encourage male volunteers to consider our programs as a place to support.

2013 Bereavement Walking Program EXTENDED

Squamish Hospice Society invites you to join the BEREAVEMENT WALKING PROGRAM for those who have suffered the loss of a loved one.

It’s a time to walk and talk, at a relaxed pace, with others who are grieving; to share ideas and support, and benefit from some fresh air and exercise.

Join the walk with two trained hospice volunteers.

There is no charge to participate    

We will get together rain or shine

Tuesdays, Feb 19th - March 26th 

Meet at the Squamish Adventure Centre

Gathering Time:  9:45 am  –  Dress warmly

Walk begins at 10 am sharp

NEW Courage to Grieve Bereavement Support Group


In times of grieving, it is imporatnt to know that you are not alone. No matter where you are in your process you are invited to attend our support group and recieve the guidance and connection to others that you may need. Acknowledging your grief takes courage adn we are here to support you adn guide you along the way. 

Please join us for the Courage to Grieve Bereavement Support Group. There is no charge to particpate however Pre-registration is required.
