Bereavement Support
" Courage to Grieve " This group is facilitated by Wendy and Liz. This group meets weekly for 11/2 hrs for 6 weeks There is a follow up session 1 month after the last group meeting The group is held in the Spring & Fall The jury is out as to when in the journey through Grief one should attend a support group. Possibly the best time, is the time you feel the need to join such a group. Typically after you first indicate an interest, one of the Hospice Coordinators or one of the Facilitators of the Group will contact you and together you can decide if the group is right for you at that time. Bereavement Support Drop-In. weekly sessions with a group facilitator and Hospice volunteers Drop -In for a cup of tea and a chat Check out our library of books and tapes Bring a book or music that you have found helpful to share with others Take a short walk with the group, enjoy the fresh air and check out some of those beautiful Squamish trails you’ve heard about. Walks will be taken spontaneously, easy walking on the flat for an hour at the most. The best thing about the Drop – In is that it can be whatever you want it to be when you are there
