As part of Emergency Preparedness Week and to celebrate Hospice Palliative Care Week Are-You-Prepared is donating $25 from every emergency kit purchased to the Squamish Hospice Society! Family, Pet, Car and Individual kits available. Come check them out at the Hike for Hospice. Be sure to note Squamish Hospice Society on your order form.
Hospice Palliative Care Week May 1-7th
So many exciting things happening for Hospice Palliative Care Week. We are thrilled to offer some great oppotunities to learn about supportive services in our community and to share resources and fun events throughout the week. We thank everyone involved for their support and fundraising efforts with the Hike for Hospice and look forward to seeing you out at the Hike where we will kick off the week's events.

May 2 - Caregivers Gathering 7:00-8:00 pm Garibaldi Room Howe Sound Brew Pub
May 4 - Executor Workshop 5:30pm Squamish Funeral Chapel
May 7 - Open Forum and 10 Year of Volunteers Celebration
The Squamish Volunteer Drivers for Cancer Program is a go and the Squamish Hospice Society is very pleased to have been a part of keeping this much needed service in our community. If you are interested in supporting the Squamish Volunteer Drivers for Cancer Program you can make a donation via our website with the note "for driver program".
Please note these donations will directly to the Volunteer Driver Program. It is our hope that while you support this important volunteer program and much needed service you continue to donate to the Squamish Hospice Society to ensure support for those in our community facing life limiting illness and grief.

Life is full of thrills and spills. Make your medical wishes known with an advance care plan. Talk to you family so they know your wishes and can speak on your behalf. Let 2016 be the year you experience the best and plan for the rest.
